I hate that website. The wiki makes no such mention, and says," Mobs that are named using the name tag never despawn in the world, similar to tamed mobs.[1] The exceptions are wandering traders or if the mob is hostile and the difficulty is switched to "Peaceful", causing any hostile mobs or any named hostile mobs to despawn immediately.
The rest are repeat problems many of us Bedrock players have. Villagers despawning is real. Best advice is to try to build places where villagers aren't right on chunk borders or where they won't be regularly crossing chunk borders. Name tags also seem to help. Other than that, just bugs. Real irritating bugs.
Ocelots, wolves, stray cats and wandering traders despawn. Hostile ones do despawn, but there are a few exceptions: -A witch that was created by a villager getting struck by lightning will not despawn. -Neither will a villager that got converted to a zombie villager. -And if you get a hostile mob, a zombie for example to hold or wear something
i need a zombie for an iron golem farm that I've set up within my spawn chunks. Do I need to use a name tag on it in order for it to not despawn, or is the fact that the zombie is in a spawn chunk allow it to not despawn? This thread is archived. . Solved. So I had some name tagged villagers in a trading hall on a realm and they were in a trading center sealed off from the outside with enough light to prevent mob spawning and yet after a week or so most of the villagers are just gone. Anyone know how to prevent this?
Bedrock 1.17 realm also. This past 2 weeks I've had the following despawn on my solo private realm (I made it private while I worked a few things out): 1 x name-tagged horses in fenced area. 1 x name-tagged fish in 5x5x5 treasure fishing farm. 1 x name-tagged max-level brewer villager, (which I'm suspicious may have reset to an un-tagged level

6 days ago · Axolotls attack all aquatic mobs except turtles, dolphins, frogs and other axolotls. They also attack drowned. An axolotl deals 2 points of damage per attack. After killing a non-hostile mob, there is a two minute cooldown before another non-hostile mob can be hunted.
Yes, they will despawn. Not unless if have them carry a dropped item, name tag or wear and equipment. Having them carry an item is more important. This keeps coming up on this sub. Yes zombie villager will despawn. Use a nametag to prevent it or don't leave the area until they're done. Don't change to peaceful while they're a zombie.
